Absolutely delicious, and SO much better than various commercial and deli salmon dips and patés I have bought – and have always been partial to. Not any more! This was SO quick and easy to make, had SO much more salmon in it than the salmon dips and patés I’ve been satisfied with in the past. I used red salmon, fresh onion and I added 2 cloves of crushed garlic, simply because I have never bought instant minced onions and because I cannot help but add garlic to any recipe in which it won’t be inappropriate. I didn’t add the liquid smoke because I have NO idea where to buy it. If anyone can enlighten me, I’ll gladly try adding it next time I make this recipe. Great recipe: DO try it if you’re a salmon paté lover! Thanks, Kymmarie!

This is addicting! I ended up eating this as a meal with some crackers over the weekend. I can see why you had none left from your potluck. I loved the addition of Liquid Smoke and I sprinkled mine with parsley. Thanks for the recipe. I will be making this again. I made this again for a game night at my mom's house. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe!
