1. was looking for a lighter form of ham stew whenI came across this recipe and decided I had to try it. Only change I made was I added a can of diced tomatoes while it simmered. Quick, easy and tasty. Thanks for sharing your recipe!!

 2. I was looking for a low fat, low carb ham stew and this fit the bill perfectly. I subbed spinach for the peas and it was so thick and savory I skipped the corn starch as well.

The ham gave the stewed veggies a nice, smokey flavor that tased like they had simmered for hours.

I keep blanched, frozen veggies in the freezer and they worked out perfectly.

New famaily favorite at my house.

 3. This is exactly what it says it is--fast, easy, and delicious! Only took about 30 minutes to make, and it was full of flavor and very filling. I used a little less seasoning mix than the recipe called for and added some ground pepper. Will make again--thanks!
