Reviews

  1. Very quick and easy side dish. I didn't have any lemons so I added a small squeeze of lime...lemon probably would taste better, but the lime juice gave it a nice tanginess. The cheese made the dish slighly creamy which was nice. This might be nice with a little red pepper flake too.

  2. If you like sauteed cabbage, you will enjoy this dish. I liked the slight tanginess of the lemon juice and the parmesan cheese was a nice addition. Made for My-3-Chefs Nov, 2009.

  3. I had some leftover shredded red cabbage and carrots from making coleslaw that I hadn't used. This was a perfect use. I didn't use the onions or garlic to keep it low fodmap. I thought it was good just with the lemon juice and a little sugar, added butter after sauteeing in olive oil was slightly yummier, parm cheese good but not necessary. Great easy fast side dish - I can imagine cooking it up alone on a night where I just need something healthy and fast too. thanks!

Tweaks

  1. Very easy to make, and easy to tweak. I added broccoli... Skipped the butter as I'm vegan, used vegan cheddar, and used lime instead of lemon. Added plenty of pepper. Yummm

Hi and thank you for visiting my about me page... I have 2 very handsome sons that are my pride and joy. My partner is the man i was to marry when i was 18 years old - unfortunately we got cold feet and i moved away - we have reunited after searching for each other for 25 years and are making our home in Calgary - we are eventually going to make it to the altar. Our rescue dog Nikki and my son's Cat Saichel are our fur babies. I was the lucky recipient of a premium membership donated by a very generous chef here at Zaar and to show my appreciation i have tried to continue to fulfill my responsibilities to ensure premimum membership continues. However, I have run into a little snag but am working on it. I am looking forward to the day when I can reciprocate and offer someone else the joy of premium. Pet peeves in life are inconsiderate & ignorant people & slow drivers. Life goes by fast - why not drive the same speed......
