  1. Bars were good, not overly pumpkiny. Next time I would add nutmeg and more cinnamon.

  2. My family and I absolutely love these bars. They are moist and yummy. This recipe makes a large batch as well. The cream cheese frosting is wonderful- I use only 2 cups of powered sugar so it is not as sweet.

  3. Excellent. I only had a 9 x 13" pan so baked it a bit longer. I would call this a pumpkin cake not really a bar in my opinion. Still, very good!!

  4. We needed a bar fast for church this afternoon and this one fit the bill. I added pumpkin spice along with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. This is a very moist bar. I did not frost the bars, instead I sprinkled the top with powered sugar. Thanks Nezz for sharing this recipe.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
