directions

  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on pork chops then coat them in flour (be sure to coat them well with the flour). In a large skillet, heat oil at medium-high heat. Add pork chops and brown for about 4 minutes (flip them one time).
  • Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Distribute this mixture on the pork chops. Cover and cook at low heat 8 to 10 minutes or until pork chops are slightly pink inside. If the sauce is too thick, add a little bit of water.

Questions & Replies

  1. Can I use canned pineapple, and does it taste differently if I do? I can't make it to the grocery store right now.

Reviews

  1. I used apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar, chopped pineapple because I didn't have crushed pineapple and added onions, red pepper and a little minced ginger. We really liked it.

  2. I LOVE this recipe. Pork chops can be really hit or miss, but with this recipe, they're a big hit! I love the flavors and agree with another reviewer, the taste ends up somewhere between a BBQ sauce and a sweet and sour sauce. I personally throw all of the sauce ingredients (including the pineapple) into the Magic Bullet and blend it all up into a smooth sauce. It just makes it super easy, and is nice if you're not a fan of chunks. Highly recommend this recipe! Yum.

  3. OMG, these were divine! I used boneless 1 1/4 inch chops. I had tocook them a little longer but worth the wait. You could throw some dried chili peppers in there is you wanted a little zing. Great easy weeknight dish as Boomette said. Delish!

  4. Delicious!!! My kiddos devoured them, and asked for more! KEEPER!! I enjoyed the flavor a lot, also. Thanks for posting a great recipe!

  5. My husband and I enjoyed this recipe and I don’t like pork much. It is quick and easy and you have most ingredients in your pantry. I added some garlic powder, cumin and paprika to the flour. I also added a shake of red pepper flakes to the sauce. If I have more time next time. I will add some onion and garlic. Im sure it is good without all my extras too. The pork was so tender. I served it with rice and broccoli.
