- 473.18 473.18 ml habanero peppers or 473.18 ml jalapeno peppers, stemmed minced
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 59.14 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 59.14 ml olive oil, divided
- 4.92 ml garlic, chopped
- 4.92 ml ground ginger
- 4.92 ml salt
- 4.92 ml dried basil
- 4.92 ml dried oregano
- 4.92 ml dried tarragon
directions
- Using 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet, saute peppers and onion for 10 minutes. Add to food processor or blender along with remaining ingredients. Puree until desired consistency.
- Add to freshly cleaned skillet and bring sauce to medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and refrigerate. Use within 2 weeks.
