This cake is awesome! I made it for gift giving for Valentine's day today and it's come out sooo good! My apartment smelt wonderful while this was baking. I wanted to try using some liquer in the cake, so I used 1/2 cup of Green creme de menthe while preparing the cake batter(I added it in step 6). After putting the batter in the greased cake pan, I neatly put 3 sticks of cinnamon on the top of the cake batter because I found cinnamon was missing from the recipe. This cake took exactly an hour to bake in my preheated oven. With the frosting over it, it was fit for a king! I topped it off with chopped walnuts. It looked decadent, rich and a pure delight! I have to confess that I couldn't resist myself from trying it out, which I did very tactfully:-) It is WONDERFUL!! Thank you very much for posting the recipe on Zaar!

I just love to cook, that's about it. I like trying new recipes for the same thing until I find the ultimate, absolutely best recipe there is for it. Fortunately, I have lots of friends and co-workers who are more than happy to sample for me.
