A delicious rich and creamy tomato sauce.

  1. In a large sauce pan, sauté the garlic, onions, and red pepper flakes in the olive oil.
  2. Add the crushed and diced tomatoes.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  4. Add the vodka and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer uncovered over medium-low heat for about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Add the cream and parsley.
  7. Turn heat to low and simmer covered one hour.
  8. Toss with penne rigate or drizzle over cheese ravioli. Sprinkle dishes with fresh grated parmesan. BUON APPETITO!
