directions

  • Turn the oven onto 375°F
  • In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the peanut butter, water and vanilla. Combine the flour and baking soda, stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an unprepared cookie sheet.
  • Umm I let them cook in the oven for about 6 minutes and then I check them and then about another 6 minutes later I checked them with a toothpick. But I would say just check on them every 6 to 10 minutes! And enjoy!

  1. I will give it one star for the idea.I wanted to make a quick bar and the name Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip "BARS" sounded great. My bad I guess for not reading through the whole recipe first but it is not even a bar recipe as it calls to drop dough from a spoon to form cookies. The addition of the 1/4 cup of water made the dough kinda soupy and not like any cookie dough I have ever seen. I manage to save it with about 2 cups of additional oatmeal. We did get some bars out of it but all and all I would say this recipe is a waste of ingredients and should be avoided
