- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sage
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon clove
- 1⁄4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon natures seasoning
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 4 large potatoes
- 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 2 pillsbury pie crusts
directions
- In non stick skillet stir fry onions in just enough water to make tender. Add ground turkey and spices. Stir fry and cook together. Add 1/2 C of water and boullion cube. Simmer 10 minutes, drain slightly and save liquid.
- Cook potatoes on the side, mash without milk or butter. If potatoes are too dry, add liquid saved from meat. Add to meat mixture and blend well. Add bread crumbs.
- Place mixture between 2 pie crusts in 9" pie plate. Baste with 1 TBS skim milk. Add steam vents to upper crust. Cook at 375 degrees x1 hour.
