Very simple tea made with lemongrass. You need fresh lemongrass, dried won't do. Sourced from

  1. Gently bruise - by pounding with a meat melt or rolling pin - the lemongrass.
  2. Bring the water to a boil and use to rinse and heat-up a teapot. Add the lemongrass and cover with the water. Allow to seep for a while then pour the tea into small cups and add a little sugar if desired.

I enjoyed this today for my mid morning break. The first cup was without honey and then second had just a little added. I have to say I like mine plain. I will try to re-brew the lemongrass again to see how many times I can re use it. Made for ZWT - Africa

What a lovely subtle tea. The smell in the kitchen was so soft and delicate, it tickled the taste buds. I really enjoyed this citrus tea with a little honey. It helped the lemon flavor come through even more. Thanks for sharing your recipe Coasty. Made for ZWT7 for the Witchin Kitchen
