Mala Green Beans

"My favorite dish at my local chinese restaurant is Mala Green Beans with Beef. So I've been looking for a similar restaurant. This one gets close on the flavors, I just have to refine how to include the beef to get it more flavorful. I did add largely cut jalapenos and roughly cut cremini mushrooms to the recipe, along with some grated ginger, which I love."

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of cooking and baking with my mom and/or my grandmother. I still love cooking many of the recipes they taught me. Now I don't do nearly enough cooking as I would like, as I don't often get much time. I like trying new ingredients and flavor combinations, but also love going back to my classic favorites.
