"Better than what you buy, but you need to think about it now, as it takes at least a month sitting in the fridge. Great in mixed drinks, or alone. Makes a good gift too."

• Ingredients: 5
• Yields: 2-3 bottles

ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 3 cups water
• 10 teaspoons instant coffee
• 4 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 quart vodka

directions

1. Simmer sugar, water and coffee slowly, for an hour.
2. Cool.
3. Stir in vanilla and vodka.
4. Store in refrigerator in bottles for at least a month.
5. Serve over ice.
