It is a lightened/easier skillet version of a taco lasagna recipe developed by the same poster and published by Southern Living Magazine.

  1. brown meat, Drain.
  2. Add taco seasoning, corn, beans, salsa, pasta and water. Simmer 15 minutes until pasta is cooked.
  3. Add cheeses and stir till melted.

My husband and I really like this recipe. Great, easy Mexican dinner...we eat with chips & salsa. I use ground turkey (1/2 lb) instead of the beef and use velveeta in place of the shredded cheese and cream cheese.javascript:postComment();

Very unappetizing to look at, but tasted pretty good. Make sure that you don't add more heat than you can handle - we used medium salsa and it was almost too spicy.
