Hoisin Garlic Burgers

  1. In bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, coriander, hoisin sauce, garlic, gingerroot and egg; mix well. Make 4 to 5 burgers.
  2. In small bowl whisk together water, hoisin sauce and sesame oil. Brush half of the sauce over top of burgers.
  3. Place on greased grill and barbecue, or place on rack on baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes (at 450F)(or until no longer pink inside). Turn patties once and brush with remaining sauce.

wonderful. I scaled this down to one and it made a terrific burger. Next time i might use this same mixture as kebabs to save on the carbs from buns :)

Oh! These are fantastic! So simple and just so tasty! I used wheat free breadcrumbs and it made no difference to the taste or texture, so for me this is a definite keeper! Reviewed for Photo Tag 2008

I have never made my own burgers successfully before. These were soooo simple to make and tasted so good! Thank you so much for this recipe! I will definitely be making this again.
