- 1360.77 g beef stew meat
- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 29.58 ml olive oil
- 411.06 g Mexican-style diced tomatoes
- 236.59 ml salsa (HERDEZ)
- 354.88 ml salsa verde (HERDEZ)
- 236.59 ml chicken broth
- 2.46 ml salt
- 2.46 ml ground black pepper
- 4.92 ml garlic powder
- 4.92 ml ground cumin
- 907.18 g potatoes, peeled and diced
directions
- Sauté meat and onions in oil. Add diced tomatoes, salsas, broth, salt, pepper, garlic and cumin.
- Cover and simmer over low heat until meat is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add diced potatoes.
- Spoon into warm bowls and serve with warm flour tortillas on the side.
