  • 2 cups sugar
  • 23 cup light Karo syrup (corn)
  • 34 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon flavoring, Lorann Flavor
  • powdered sugar
  • food coloring

directions

  • Mix sugar, syrup and water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar discolves. Boil without stirring until 310 degrees. Remove from heat. Stir in Flarvor and color.
  • Pour on lightly greased cookie sheets. Cool (5 hours or overnight) and break.
  • Optional: Sprinkle powdered sugar on harden candy to minimize stickiness.
