Grandma's Farm Bread

6 loaves
ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup honey
- 1⁄2 cup molasses
- 2 1⁄2 cups dry milk
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 quarts water
- 1⁄4 cup yeast
- 8 eggs
- 12 cups wheat flour
- 10 cups white flour
directions
- 1. mix first six ingredients together.
- 2. Stir in 1 quart of boiling water.
- 3. Then 1 quart of cold water.
- 4. When mixture has cooled. Blend in yeast.
- 5.Put beaten eggs into batter.
- 6. Add wheat flour, then the white flour.
- 7. Knead for about 15 minutes.
- 8. put in clean oiled bowl let rise 1 hour. Then divide into 6 loaves. Let rise 30 mintues.
- 9. Bake at 325 degress for 35 minutes.

<p>I moved to Alaska 22 year ago and Love it here. I drive school bus in the winter and cook for a fishing lodge during the summer. I have two kids, a boy that is 16 and a girl that is 12. I have a wonderful husband, that likes to eat my cooking. In the summer I also due alot of gardening so we can have fresh food. I love to come to recipezaar. I find alot of good recipe to try.</p>
