"What a wonderful Southern tradition. Slice a big ol biscuit and smother it with sausage gravy. What a great way to start the day."

ingredients

• 453.59 g pork sausage
• 29.58 ml onions, finely chopped
• 88.74 ml all-purpose flour
• 946.0 ml milk
• 1.23 ml salt
• 0.25 ml Worcestershire sauce
• 0.25 ml hot pepper sauce
• 0.25 ml nutmeg (optional)

directions

1. Brown sausage and onion.
2. Pour off excess grease.
3. Make white sauce with remaining ingredients.
4. Cook until desired thickness and add sausage.
5. Heat until warm.
6. Serve over hot biscuits.
