    The pool-side restaurant at the Kea Lani Hotel on Maui serves a sauce like this with their burgers and onion rings. I loved it so much I could have eaten it by the spoonful. I brought a bottle home and attempted to replicate it. I think this is very close!

      Place all ingredients in a saucepan.

      Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.

      Pour into bottles and store in refrigerator.

      Although I do not normally use a steak sauce, I made this up for the "gang" to use since we were out. I did indeed try it myself and enjoyed it very much and they all said it was really good as well. I reduced the quantity to make 2 cups. I increased the pepper a bit (we're a big pepper household) and added some minced garlic. Thanks for posting this, I'll certainly make it again!

      I enjoyed this! I added some garlic powder in addition to the garlic salt, since I love it so much and I added TONS more black pepper as well. I had it with steak tonight and I plan on trying it with chicken and maybe on some rice as well.
