Garlic Cheese Biscuits Aka ( Red Lobster Biscuits)

"They ain't Red Lobsters, but they dang close! Great tasting and just about as close as you can get to the original Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Been cooking these up for a long time now and the family enjoys them. Hey they are great just by themselves without a meal, acourse some shrimp scampi would be awsome with them too! Enjoy!"

  1. Delicious! I quickly searced for a biscuit recipe while my chicken was in the oven cooking and I found this one...and I am glad I did! It mixed up FAST and was really, really yummy! I dropped my dough in large spoonfuls on the cookie sheet and it fit 6. (I got a total of 9 large biscuits.)Took about 15 mins. at 375 but keep checking them, once they are golden brown they are done. This one is a keeper...my husband and 5 year old son both loved them too!!

  2. I have not tried this exact recipe, but I baked a similar one the other day (hence not star rating for this). Mine simply omitted the butter in the dough. Instead, it said to drizzle 2T melted butter over the biscuits after cooling slightly. It gave a great crispness to the biscuits. Maybe next time I'd try the butter in both places.

  3. Great recipe!! You wouldn't be able to tell the difference from Red Lobsters!! My family enjoys these with soups, or steaks, a nice addition to anyt meal! Great for a family get together.

  4. These are great. There is a Red Lobster copy cat recipe that uses Old Bay Seasoning, if you like that flavor. But, again, these are perfect as is, and I always have the ingredients in the pantry. Thanks for posting.
