Cheddar Bay Biscuits (Red Lobster Style)

"I found this "copycat" recipe from a website. It is soooo easy and incredibly good! I've made this several times for my family and friends and they just love them. They think these are better than the ones served in the restaurant! I add extra cheese on top (maybe that's the key) ; ) Hope you enjoy!"

  1. Red Lobster actually bakes them first and then brushes the top with scampi butter right as they come out of the oven.

  2. I've tried and tried different recipes for these biscuits. This is the one I'll use from now on.They were excellent.I made steak and gravy to go with them.I did add a little O Bay seasoning. They were good just by themselfs. The garlic butter makes a great dipping sauce for them to even after they were brush with it.In other words these biscuits are just plain sinful.

  3. We've tried a few different recipes for these biscuits, but this is our favorite! We love serving them with broccoli and cheese soup and all sorts of pasta! Really, I could make a meal just out of these! We follow the recipe exactly and they always come out wonderful!

  4. These were great. I mad a few simple changes. I used buttermilk and 1/4 tsp of garlic powder in the batter. I baked them then topped them with the garlic butter and popped them back in the oven to crisp. Delicious!

  5. Bisquick is not an ingredient its unhealthy flour, why even bother baking if your going to add extra chemicals. You don't even know what your eating.

Hello.. :) Boy, am I glad I discovered RecipeZaar! I've found some really great recipes here. I'm from Long Island, NY, but recently relocated to Port St. Lucie, FL. I work as a Document Specialist for a large publishing company. I love to cook; I don't have a favorite cookbook - I enjoy trying out recipes from ordinary people who are willing to share them. :) My passions are cooking, baking, my pets, shopping, reading, listening to music and watching movies. I have lots of pet peeves, but one of my biggest are people who don't use seasoning in their foods! lol. If I had a month off from work with no responsibilities (assuming this is with pay, of course) I would shop, shop & shop! :)
