  1. Loved this. We sized it down for 2 people using 1 egg and just over 1/4 cup milk. Very simple and quick to make yet tasty. Great with maple syrup on top!

  2. Sized down to four slices of bread. Worked fine. Did not add sugar or rum. Nice, basic recipe.

  3. This was a top-notch recipe. I made it for my wife on Valentines Day this year and WOW was it good and very simple. She loved it, too! I just took out the confectioners' sugar, used vanilla extract instead of the rum extract, and instead of adding all the nutmeg I used 1/2 the nutmeg and made the other 1/2 cinnamon. Husbands...don't hesitate to make these, they are easy and delicious.

  3. I made this with my kids today. It was a very easy recipe to make and was enjoyed by all. I did make a minor change to the ingredients. I used someone else's suggestion and replaced the rum and nutmeg(neither of which I had at home),with cinnamon and vanilla. The kids really enjoyed this so I'm sure we will make it again.

  4. My husband just made this for me for Mother's Day! Obviously very easy and quick to make. Tastes great with both syrup or powdered sugar on top. He used cinnamon instead of nutmeg and pure vanilla extract instead of rum extract. A nice compliment to my earlier breakfast of popcorn and hot bell peppers served to me by my 4 year old daughter lol ;) Happy Mother's Day!
