This recipe was a complete disaster. When reading over the recipe it made no sense to me that you could cook the chopped shrimp first and then expect it to stay intact in a patty. Boy was I (unfortunately) right. I followed the recipe exactly and there was NO way to transfer the patties to even the flour mixture. Totally fell apart in my hands. I even let them rest in the fridge for 30 min. like I do with crab cakes because I anticipated a problem. I stood and peeled and deveined 61 shrimp and did all the other prep work and it all ended up in the trash. What a waste of my time and money. Sorry Emeril...boo!

What can I say about myself that hasn't already been mentioned in the police reports? Just kidding! I'm a single guy who loves to cook! Good thing, or I'd starve or go broke eating out! I love to read, horror and mysteries are my favorite.
Love music, (except rap) and I'm a huge Green Bay Packer Fan!
