Easy Beef Stroganoff - Ground Beef Version

This is one of my family's favorites. Unlike most recipes, this one calls for ground beef. Serve over noodles or rice.

  1. In a large, deep skillet, add onions and beef and brown until no longer pink.
  2. Drain off fat.
  3. Stir in Remaining Ingredients, except sour cream, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat when mixture thickens to desired consistency and let sit for a few minutes. Then add sour cream and mix well until blended.
  5. Serve immediately over hot noodles.
  6. ****EDIT: If you prefer your stroganoff mixture a little thinner, increase the milk from 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup.
