- 680.38 g boneless pork, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 14.79 ml oil
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 295.73 ml onions, coarsely chopped
- 118.29 ml celery, sliced
- 118.29 ml green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
- 283.49 g frozen lima beans, thawed (optional)
- 822.13 g diced tomatoes, undrained
- 118.29 ml dry white wine
- 44.37 ml quick-cooking tapioca
- 2.46 ml salt, to taste
- 4.92 ml brown sugar
- 9.85 ml basil
- 14.79 ml garlic, minced
- 3.69 ml pepper, to taste
directions
- Brown pork in oil.
- Put slow cooker liner in crock pot.
- Put pork and vegetables in crock pot.
- In medium sized bowl put diced tomatoes, wine, tapioca, salt, brown sugar, basil, garlic, and pepper; and pour over pork/veggie mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
