YUMMY! This was such a great little recipe, and so easy too! I used about 10 cloves of garlic minced and only 1/2 cup white wine, cuz I ran out. It had a great lemon flavor and was very tender. I always use frozen meat in the crockpot only because it helps the meat stay moist, so I am glad to see someone else who does this! :)

The chicken fell apart... and we LOVED it! It smells great while cooking, looks appealing and couldn't have been more tender or flavorful. I used fresh boneless chicken thighs and browned them before adding them to the pot. I served this over short grain brown rice seasoned with salt, pepper and thyme and a side of parmesan almond green beans. Super tasty, super easy FABULOUS meal!

Because of the amount of garlic used (2 heads) it was for us a Saturday dish. When you prepare this recipe don’t be hungry! The smell of garlic, wine and lemon is very appealing. The combination of the ingredients makes it a very fine dish even if it looks rustic. We served it with polenta. Thank you for posting it.

So easy. My husband and toddler son really enjoyed this. Between the 2 of them, there was barely anything left (I didn't eat anything as I was sick with a cold/flu, unrelated to this recipe. Besides my tastebuds still haven't recovered so I wouldn't have been a good judge). My son ate it as fast as it was put in front of him. The hubby said lots of flavor and a good balance between the garlic and lemon. I used frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts. I substituted Italian seasoning for the seasoning salt and a dash of a habanero sauce for the Tabasco as I had neither of those ingredients in the house. Since the sauce didn't fully cover the chicken breasts, a few times during the cooking I did spoon some of the sauce over the chicken. We will have this again.
