Crock Pot Ground Beef Stew

"This started out as a beefy soup but I didn't like the way the broth turned out so I just served the meat and veggies with a slotted spoon. It kind of gave me a taste of home. It's a lot like food I grew up with in Scotland. I drizzled HP sauce (available in the British section of most good grocery stores)on the top of mine."

I'm a stay-at-home homeschooling Mom with very little time to cook and on a tight budget, so I'm always looking for fast, cheap and healthy recipes. That can be a tall order. I love this site because of the huge amount of crock pot recipes (my favorite kitchen tool) plus it shows the calorie and nutrient count. That's awesome. I like to grill too when I have time but I'm not the best (and want to learn) different varieties and ways to season.
