Cream Cheese Frosting Low-Calorie

"This is a rich creamy frosting that is easy and delicious served on Pumpkin, spice or carrot cakes. I make this recipe all the time so I had to include it in my recipe collection."

ingredients

• 226.79 g package reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
• 59.14 ml butter, softened
• 2.46 ml vanilla
• 0.06 ml imitation maple flavor
• 118.29 ml Splenda granular (no calorie artificial sweetener)
• 118.29 ml powdered sugar

directions

1. Place frosting ingredients in a mixing bowl.
2. Mix on medium speed until well blended.
3. Ice cake when cake is completely cool.
4. Optional garnishes: Sprinkle finely chopped walnuts.
5. Makes enough to frost a two-layer 9 inches cake.

I like this recipe but a drop of Maple flavor was a bit too much atleast of the brand I used. I think I will leave it out next time.
