  • Melt butter in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.
  • Add chopped celery, onion, and bell pepper.
  • Saute 5 minutes or until tender.
  • Add sausage and saute 5 minutes.
  • Stir in chicken and remaining ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
  • Rice can be made separately, if desired, and stirred into other ingredients when done.

  1. I halved this recipe and left out the green pepper. I cut the sausage pieces smaller-personal preference. I love one pot recipes. So easy to make and the flavour is fantastic!
