  • In a medium saucepan, saute mushrooms and garlic in 1 teaspoon butter until tender.
  • Stir in shrimp and cook until pink.
  • Transfer to bowl.
  • In same saucepan melt remaining 2 teaspoons butter.
  • Slowly mix in cream.
  • Stir in shrimp and mushroom mixture and black pepper.
  • Simmer over very low heat until thick.
  • Just before serving stir in wine.

  3. I made this sauce this past weekend for a dinner party. I grilled some catfish and poured this sauce over it. I served it with white rice and wilted spinach and red bell peppers. It was AMAZING! I think next time I'm going to try and get some red fish and pan fry it to put the sauce over. Great work!
     
  4. Really fast, easy and good. Served over pasta with baked tomatoes on the side. I used lots of garlic and even with the half fat butter and very low fat cream it was great. This one sat in my "to make" folder too long, I hope you all see the review and try it, you'll love it!
     
  5. Wow! How did I miss this one? I have a ton of shrimp in my freezer and was looking for something a little different for dinner. I thru this together in a flash (with the ton of garlic that was suggested) served this with artichoke hearts and a green salad. We thought it was excellent!Great recipe!
