Buffalo Potato Wedges

"If you like spicy, you'll love these. I use 2 really huge baking potatoes cut into wedges with the same amounts of sauce ingredients. These can be used as a side dish or as an appetizer."

  1. I made these tonight and everyone loved them. This is unusual because out of the 5 of us usually not everyone agrees. I made them just like the recipe stated but the only difference was cooking them longer so they got a little crispy. Thanks this was a great recipe.

  2. These are wonderful! We used Frank's Red Hot for the hot pepper sauce and dipped them in ranch dressing. I plan on making them for our super bowl party!

  3. If you like the taste of hot wings, you will enjoy these. I made exactly as written (using Frank's hot sauce); however, I wanted my potato wedges to be somewhat crispy, so I upped the temp to 425 and baked for the last 15 minutes. The crispy results I wanted were achieved. I could not eat as many of these as I could hot wings; but I was craving hot wings and didn't have any wings to make my own so I tried these. I'm not sure that I will make this often because my kids and my husband do not like spicy foods; but it was a nice change of pace. Thanks.

  4. These were good! I used Frank's hot sauce since (in my opinion) it lends the flavor of "buffalo" to any recipe...will make again.

  5. Very easy and tasty dish. It did take my potatoes alot longer to bake than 30 minutes, but that could be the size wedges I cut them into. The overwhelming flavor was the buffalo sauce (I used tabasco as my hot pepper sauce), so I'm afraid that the sprinkling off the s & p and garlic powder was a waste for me. I would definately make these again.

Tweaks

  1. We used sweet baby rays buffalo wing sauce and they were awesome! The only thing I did different was added onion powder and substituted garlic powder and salt for garlic salt. I also basted on the sauce and did not drizzle. Fianally I did not do 15 min on the end only ten min. Then left them on warm in the oven till I was ready for dinner.
