This recipe comes from The Pillsbury Complete Cookbook, which I received as a wedding present from my husband's Aunt Wilma. I adapted the recipe to suit my family's taste. The chops always come out tender and very flavorful!

  1. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown pork chops in olive oil, turning to brown on both sides.
  2. Add water and remaining ingredients.
  3. Cover and simmer for about 20-30 minutes until pork chops are tender.

My husband liked these. They might have been better if I had made a gravy to pour over them. The flavor was ok too, but like another poster said, might have been better if put on the meat before browning.

Very good. I added the spices first before browning after reading the other posted comments. So easy and tastey! Will make again! Plus I'm doing teh low-carb thing and this is completely low-carb!

It was easy enough but not as much flavor as we like. I may have also overcooked my chops. I strained the sauce and used it as gravy and added salt. I think if I would have seasoned the chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder before browning them that would have helped.
