Delicious!! I made 1 and 1/2 times the recipe and used 2 cups of blueberries. I baked in an 8x11 pan and these turned out to be fabulous bars. Thanks so much for sharing your yummy recipe!!

WOW, CoffeeB, this is A REAL WINNER of a recipe! The cookies have a wonderfully chewy yet still crunchy texture and a yummylicious berry vanilla cinnamon flavour. I had never before combined those two spices in a cookie, but it was very yummy! Following WhiteRoseChild's lead, I too used half applesauce in place of the butter, which worked out just fine. Due to personal taste preference I used only 1/4 cup of sugar, so that my cookies had a lovely fruity sweetness from the berries. Other than that though followed the recipe to a t and it was perfect! The dough was very easy to work with and I was surprised at how quickly it all went together. Im sure I will make these often again as I luv both berries and oats. :) THANKS SO MUCH for sharing this lovely treat with us, CoffeeB! Made and reviewed for Went to the Market Tag Game July 09.

I created a account for the sole purpose of reviewing this recipe. These cookies are SOOOO amazing. I initially had made them for a blueberry-loving friend, but now they are mine and my husband's favorite cookies of all time. There's the dense crunch from the oats, the mellow sweetness from the brown sugar, the cinnamon is subtle - just enough to accent the fresh sweetness of the berries. And the blueberries are a delicately sweet surprise. We LOVE them.
