- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 1⁄2 cups whole wheat rotini
- 8 ounces Velveeta reduced fat cheese product (Cubed)
- 2 3⁄4 cups skim milk
- 1⁄4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1⁄4 - 1⁄2 cup onion (Diced)
- 1⁄4 cup nonfat sour cream
- 1 large tomatoes (Diced)
directions
- Brown ground turkey in a large skillet. Drain and return to the skillet.
- Add Milk, Ketchup, and Mustard; bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add Rotini, and continue to boil, covered, for about 7 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Add Tomato and Onion, continue to boil, covered, for another 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add cubed velveeta and sour cream. Heat uncovered and stir until velveeta is melted and sauce is smooth.
- Let stand to allow sauce to thicken for a few minutes before serving.
