Old Time Chicken and Biscuits
Nothing about this is old fashioned. I’m used to gravy. Not white soup. Give me a recipe where the gravy is a light brown color. The half and half ruined this dish. This was already a nice colored gravy. The half and half did nothing to thicken the gravy. Actually made it thinner.
I did tweak it somewhat. I've making this for years. I added approximately 2 teaspoons of dried dill weed, approximately 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and silvered almonds on top along with the egg wash.
