  1. I make this several times a year. It's really good

  2. Love the crust on this one. I actually changed it up a bit. I cut out most of the sugar in the cream cheese mix and added fat free cool whip. Also used half regular cream cheese & half pinapple cream cheese, so it was pretty sweet. DH loved it. Keeping this. I sent pictures to our grown kids. Hahahaha. Killed em' to see what they're missing. Lol.

  3. YUM! This is the same recipe I always use except for the first layer I use powdered sugar rather than gran. This was the first time my sister had this kind of crust and she loved it! I usually like using only strawberries, kiwi, and bananas. Thanks!!

  4. Wow, so good! Loved the crust since it doesn't compete for sweetness with the fruit (strawberries and bananas). Sampled it, and it didn't even need a glaze! On the cream cheese layer I used powdered sugar instead and a small amount of lemon extract for the vanilla. The lemon is very strong so I didn't need much! I really loved this. Thanks for posting!

  5. Made it without the glaze. Just like my grandma makes!

I live in the San Francisco area and love it here. I discovered Recipezaar (then Food.com..Genius Kitchen) in 2001 and have been so happy to have my favorite recipes stored safely here. I am mother to 7 and grandmother to 7. I love to knit, smock, sew, etc., but my favorite hobby of the moment is traditional rug hooking. This is a sample of what I do.? It's called "November".? I dyed most of the wool myself. It is made from wool flannel, cut into strips a little less than 1/4" and then worked into a linen backing. This is my 3rd rug.
