- 16 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 6 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 (8 ounce) cans evaporated milk
- salt & pepper
directions
- After the macaroni is cooked and drained, stir all ingredients together in crock pot.
- Make sure all is mixed up well.
- Cook on high for about 2 hours.

This is the first non-instant (think Kraft) mac n cheese I've ever made! Couldn't have been simpler! I didn't have the recipe printed out, and thought I remembered it correctly, however, I only used about 3 1/2 cups of shredded cheese, and it still turned out cheesy enough! It only took 1 1/2 hours though. Great, simple recipe! Thanks!
