  • Mix equal, mayo, water and vinegar throughly.
  • Slice cucumber and onions very thin.
  • Pour mixture over cucumbers and onions and refrigerate about an hour before serving.

  1. Very good salad. I think next time, I will add some sour cream (no fat of course!) to make it taste a bit Russian.
     
  2. This was ok. Certainly edible, but I didn't feel like it had much flavor. Fine as a dinner side, though.
     
  3. Nice, light flavor. Easy to put together! I also added a touch of salt and dill seasoning.
     
  4. Makes a nice light side. It turns out well even when eyeballing the quantities.
     
  5. I love this recipe. I double the recipe using two cucumbers, one large onion and 1/2 cup of the white vinegar and water and 2 tablespoons each of the mayo as well as someone's suggestion of the sour cream. I have been taking this to picnics all summer and have gotten rave reviews. Thanks!
