Toasted Almond Rice

- 5 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups uncle ben's wholegrain brown rice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 (900 ml) box campbell's chicken broth, 25% less sodium
- 1 cup toasted slivered almonds
directions
- Cook onions in heated oil in heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat for 1 minute, stirring often.
- Add rice, soy sauce and broth. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover.
- Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in almonds.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
