  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 34 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 14 cup strawberry preserves
  • 12 cup almonds, toasted finely chopped
  • powdered sugar

directions

  • Beat cream cheese at medium speed of mixer until fluffy.
  • Add melted chocolate,beating until smooth.
  • Stir in wafer crumbs and preserves,cover and chill 1 hour.
  • Shape mixture into 1 inch balls,roll in almonds or powdered sugar.
  • Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

  1. OMG you have to try these, I first made these at christmas time and they were eaten within 5 mins of serving them. I made my second lot with strawberry wafers and they were great. Would give this recipe 50 stars if I could.
     
  2. Really tasty little cheesecake bites! Easy to make, too. I rolled in coconut because that's what I had on hand.
     
  3. Even tho I wasn't thrilled with the taste of this recipe at all, I did have some people that absolutely LOVED it. I guess it depends on the individual. I will make it again, but by request only.
     
  4. While I thought these were OK tasting, I am afraid they really didn't appeal to me. I think my expectations were off... I thought the predominant flavors would be chocolate and strawberry, however I found those flavors to be rather subtle in comparison to the tang of the cream cheese. That being said, they were very easy to make so if you think they might appeal to you, give them a try.
     
  5. oooooooo how this needs more reviews. So glad I stumbled upon it. I tis great. the only thing I changed, I had a mocha chocolate bar on hand and added crushed pieces of it(not melted) AWESOME!!!!!
