Questions & Replies

  1. Here in Texas we call them "Sandtarts". And, we measure out the dough, by rolling it out about half the length of our finger. After, they are finished cooking in the oven, we have a big ole' bowl of powered sugar we flop them around in. After Momma retired and moved with Daddy to the county. I used to make her a batch around the holidays. Every year she would start calling in October to remind me to make them and told me it wouldn't hurt her feelings if I sent them early. My Momma always worked. And she couldn't cook at all. She could burn water. Karen
