  • Cream butter; add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beating well. Add flour, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and cloves, stirring well.
  • Drop batter by teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 5 to 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Remove from cookie sheet; cool on wire racks.
  • Serve on a platter.

Retired world traveler. I have collected recipes from many of the places I have been. Not the recipes from the local 5 star restaraunts but the cuisine that the REAL people eat! Lots of interesting stuff out there people eat! Love to try out those recipes I have collected now that I have the time.
