If you like serving warm, fresh bread at mealtime, but find yourself limited on time... try this delicious "supper bread." I've used this recipe throughout the years and it always turns out wonderfully. This old recipe is from Southern Living's January 1986 issue.

These were really good and quick to make! They are like biscuits. I used bread flour and cut the recipe in half in case they weren't good, which made 5 "biscuit muffins." My husband said, "You can make these again."

Good recipe that the family enjoyed. These are more like biscuits than muffins. Very enjoyable, thanks for posting!

I've made these muffins twice, and I think it's a great recipe when you want bread quick. The second time I made them, I used buttermilk instead of plain, and it gave the muffins a nice, tangy flavor. Definitely a recipe I'll be keeping.
