Maui Zaui Pizza

"Very easy and delicious, this is my take on the specialty pizza at round table. I make this as listed, but you can omit the olive oil and garlic base and use Marinara sauce, or the "signature" Polynesian sauce, recipe included."

  1. OMG! The hubby took one bit and said..."This is it!"...I did make up a Polynesian sauce to use in place of the oil...came real close to the real deal...I made just a few other changes like sliced the green onions, and chopped the Canadian bacon...I used the large (10 oz) thin crust Boboli...worked great...I put the ingredients on the pizza in the order that they are listed on the recipe...the only other change I'll be doing in the future is chop the tomatoes...I kept finding the skin being pulled off while eating it...I guess you could blanch the tomatoes but that's too time consuming...mine took 12 minutes to cook...yum...thanks for posting it...=)

  2. My husband always buys this pizza. Finally I found this recipe and WOW. He couldn't tell the difference. This is an excellent recipe. I made two pies and nothing was left since the kids loved it as well. Thank you!

  3. This pizza was fantastic! I used a italian cheese blend and just used green onions without the maui onions. It was so good I ate WAY too much of it...definitely a keeper recipe.

  4. This pizza was excellent. A great flavor combination and easy to prepare using a ready made crust. Note: I had to double the cheese amount in order to get a bubbly cheese top on this pizza. It is true that the amount of chopped tomatoes in the topping is sufficient so that you may omit the sauce. I will definitely be making it again. Thanks Kana Kahuna for posting it.
