  1. Well we wound up overcooking this, new grill - but it was very good, we can't wait to try this one again. Also Marietta's addition might be another one we will try "lacking molasses, I used a good scoop of tamarind concentrate and added 1/2 jalapeno, chopped" thanks!

  2. This recipe couldn't be any easier and is really, really good!

  3. Yowee! Zowee! It is wonderful. I halved the recipe and it was plenty for a 2 lb. London Broil. BUT, lacking molasses, I used a good scoop of tamarind concentrate and added 1/2 jalapeno, chopped, forgetting that the dark sesame oil is itself HOT. It marinated about 15 hours (!), but after removing as much moisture as possible it went onto a super-hot grill where the outside was seriously seared and the inside medium-rare in no time flat. The addition of the jalapeno turned out to be no problem at all. Fickle as I am (about food),this is the only recipe I need for L.B. Thank you, LorenLou!

  4. This was very easy to throw together. I used 4 cloves of garlic and marinated for only three hours. The tip to score the meat worked great! It was tasty & everyone loved it. We ate it the next day as cold steak sandwiches!

  5. This recipe was very tasty....I did substitute the dark sesame oil and used regular sesame oil...it was still great.

I live in Sugar Land, Texas. I love to try new recipes. My husband jokes that if he likes something, I never make it again for 6 months! My children are very picky, but do have their favorites that I try to include in our menu more often than every 6 months.
