Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

ingredients
- 6 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 1⁄3 cups sugar
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1⁄4 teaspoon . salt
- 3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
- 3 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
directions
- Combine 1st 3 ingredients in saucepan . .
- Cook over low heat 25-30 min stirring constantly until thick and coats a spoon.
- Chill well , stir in remaining ingredients , pour into ice cream freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
