Homemade Devonshire Cream

ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
directions
- In small bowl, use your electric mixer to beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
- Beat in the sour cream and confectioners sugar until well mixed.
- Spoon into serving bowl and chill until serving time.

I've never tasted real Devonshire Cream so can't compare that - but made this to serve on top of Lemon-ginger scones and recipe#329758 and it was awesome. This made a great topping and seat of the lemon flavor wonderful. I didn't change a thing in the recipe and it was rated 5 stars be all that tried it.

I'm a writer and a web designer who loves to cook (and I'm also working part time at a local museum). I'm married, no children, but three cats and one dog (all rescued) fill out the household. And they *all* like to eat!
