Creamy Hamburger Gravy

"This is sort of like a version of Beef Stroganoff, but it is a very simple recipe. Traditionally, this is served over mashed potatoes."

• Ingredients: 5
• Serves: 6-8

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
• 1 (12 ounce) bottle beef gravy
• 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon onion powder

directions

1. Brown ground beef and drain.
2. Mix all ingredients together in a pan and heat through.
3. Serve over mashed potatoes.

Tastes great and so easy to make! DH bought a 2 1/2 pound package of ground round but I forgot to ask him to buy two jars of gravy and two cans of soup. I had a large piece of shallot left so I chopped that and added it to the meat when browning. Added the remaining ingredients and it needed a little more seasoning so I sprinkled beef bouillon granules, lemon pepper, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Used instant potatoes since that was quicker and spooned the hamburger gravy over them. We loved our supper and there is enough left for a meal today. DH loves mushrooms so next time I think I will chop up a handful and add them. Thank you so much Miss ~*Diggy*~ for sharing!
