An easy salad to throw together which is a little different to the every day salad. I made this to take to a B.B.Q. The only change which I made was to use cherry tomatoes cut in half and fresh basil as well as dried. This salad was enjoyed by everyone, the colours were wonderful and I loved the added cruchiness of the walnuts in this salad, the cheese was something a little different also, and worked really well with the broccoli and pasta. Thanks gailanng for something different and easy to serve at the next B.B.Q.

I'm just me, mother, grandmother...friend to many and a Louisianian. My Cajun and French Quarter Italian descent afforded me exposure to some of the best of foods. My passions are my family, decorating, cooking and gardening. Those very passions push me into constant awareness with always looking for something new to delight the senses, thus my favorite idiom...Inspire me, puuuullllllleeeeeeease! ...and I mean it, too. God Bless America!
